Overview
Move from an approximate opening size to a checked plan in stages. Choose the frame and layout before replacing quote figures with final measurements. Every room label should match the photographs, worksheet and order.
1. Start with the opening
Use the opening size for an initial estimate, then identify the trim, sill, recess and hardware. Keep approximate quote figures clearly marked until the final measuring method is confirmed.
2. Choose the design
Choose a suitable mount and frame, compare the colour sample and plan panel movement. Resolve the layout before taking the final manufacturing measurements.
3. Complete final measurements
Follow the guide for the chosen mount and window type. Recheck the measurements at the opening and replace every approximate quote figure with the confirmed order value.
4. Review the plan
Compare the completed plan with the physical window, including post and rail positions. Use photos to check unusual details and resolve discrepancies before ordering.
