Materials
Our interior shutter ranges include PVC with internal aluminium reinforcement and timber. Reinforcement helps the PVC components stay rigid; timber is the option to consider when you want a visible grain or stained finish. Choose the material for the room and the finish you want, then check the permitted panel sizes.
PVC is waterproof, but this interior shutter system is not an exterior product. Hinges and other hardware still need care in wet areas.
Colours
Compare Glacial White, Shell and Antique PVC samples beside the window trim. A white that looks neutral on a screen can appear cool, warm or creamy against your existing paint. Check samples during the day and under the lights you use at night before selecting a finish.
Features
Tilting blades let you adjust daylight and privacy without opening the whole panel. Hinged panels provide access to the window for cleaning and ventilation. Plan the panel divisions, hinge directions and any midrails around the existing window so the shutter can open freely.
Frames
An inside Z-frame overlaps the recess edge with a finishing lip. An inside L-frame leaves the front of the architrave exposed. An outside L-frame sits on the wall or trim around the opening. The choice changes the measuring points, fixing surface and required clearances; select it before recording final order dimensions.
