Overview
Compare the same sizes, materials and panel arrangements on each quote. Then check delivery, installation, GST and the support terms. A lower headline price is only meaningful when the supplied specification is equivalent.
Compare the material and construction
Compare the frame and panel materials, reinforcement, finish and hardware. A similar colour or product name does not necessarily mean two quotes describe the same construction.
Compare the design
Use the same mount, frame, panel count and colour on both quotes. Check post and midrail arrangements as well, because different layouts can change the specification.
Compare what is included
Check whether GST, delivery, installation and any review service are included. Compare the warranty and support terms alongside those costs rather than choosing from the headline amount alone.
Check the final dimensions
Confirm that both quotes use the same final dimensions and a suitable mount. An estimate based on a rough opening size is not equivalent to a checked manufacturing specification.
