Overview
Send one clear whole-window photograph plus close-ups of details that affect the fit. Use the same room and window names on images and measurements so the team can assess each opening accurately.
Why upload a photo?
A photo can reveal trim, ledges, hardware and surrounding walls that are not obvious from width and height. It helps the team understand why a particular arrangement might be needed.
Take one whole-window photo
Stand far enough back to include all four edges and some surrounding wall. Keep the camera reasonably square to the opening and make sure the frame is well lit.
Add detail photos
Add close-ups of handles, locks, screens, unusual trim and corners. A side view helps show the depth and projection of an obstruction.
Make photos easy to identify
Use the same room and window labels on the photos, worksheet and order. Group detail photos with the full-window image they belong to.
