Double Roller Blinds

Bracket Covers

Bracket covers provide a neat finish over the exposed outer brackets of your double roller blind. Choose Add Pair of Bracket Covers to add one pair; its finish follows your Component Colour selection.

This option is available for face fit when no fascia is selected. A fascia covers the top hardware and uses its own finish options.

The pair is an optional extra. You can review your selection and configured price before adding the blind to your cart.

Choose a daytime layer and a blockout layer, then operate each independently.

Blockout & Screen

Keep an outward view when daylight conditions allow. Lower the blockout layer for greater privacy at night.

Blockout & Light Filter

Diffuse daylight and soften the view. Lower the blockout layer when you want greater privacy and room darkening.

Blockout

Blocks light passing through the fabric and gives night-time privacy. Ideal for bedrooms. Light can still enter around the edges of a conventional roller blind.

SunScreen

Softens glare while retaining a view during the day. With lights on indoors at night, a screen fabric does not provide the same privacy.

Light Filter

Diffuses daylight and obscures the view. Silhouettes may be visible at night when the room is lit.

Recess fit or face fit?

The mounting position affects the appearance, clearance and light gaps.

Recess fit

Fits inside the window opening for a clean, discreet finish. Allow for the depth of the brackets and any winders or handles. Small gaps remain beside the fabric.

Face fit

Fits over the window opening. It can cover more of the opening and help clear recess obstructions. Follow the face-fit measuring instructions.

Measure for your chosen fit

Use the measuring guide before entering your width and drop. Do not make your own manufacturing deductions.

Allow for side gaps

A conventional recess-fit roller blind has a fabric gap of approximately 15–20 mm at each side for its brackets and mechanism. If stronger light control matters, consider a face fit, curtains over the sides, or the suitable cassette system.

Width × drop, in millimetres

Measure each window individually, even when the windows look the same size.

Choose the fit first

Recess-fit and face-fit measurements are taken differently. Follow the instructions for your selected mounting position.

Enter the measured size

Width runs horizontally. Drop runs vertically. Use millimetres and check both numbers before continuing.

Linked blinds

Follow the linked-blind measuring section for the widths and layout. Keep a note of each blind’s position.

A wider window, neatly linked

Link blinds across a wide opening

Separate panels. A neater join. Control the parts of your window that suit the way you use the room.

How the panels connect

Neighbouring blinds share an intermediate bracket, reducing the gap at the join. Each blind still has its own fabric panel; linking does not turn them into one continuous sheet of fabric.

Two separate roller-blind panels meet at a shared intermediate support. Concept diagram, not to scale.

The diagram shows the principle of the connection. Hardware and clearances vary with the system you select.

Read the layout from inside the room

Look at the window from inside and read the letters from left to right. L means the control is on the left; R means it is on the right. Panels shown in the same group move together. Different groups operate independently.

Dotted loops show chain-control positions. Where the layout is available with motors, the motor sits at the corresponding control end. Only the layouts compatible with your selected control are offered in the product form.

LL
Both panels move together from the left.

RR

LR

Three blinds with separate control groups

Useful for a wide opening or a sliding door: operate a pair together and keep the remaining panel independent.

**LLR**
The left pair moves together; the right panel is separate.

**LRR**
The left panel is separate; the right pair moves together.

Three blinds moving together

Hardwired or C-Bus motors only. LLL and RRR connect all three panels to one control group. These layouts are not offered with chain, spring or battery controls.

**LLL**
All three panels move together from the left.

**RRR**
All three panels move together from the right.

Using linked double rollers

Each diagram represents one fabric layer. With double rollers, the blockout layer and the screen or light-filtering layer remain independently operated. The linked arrangement is repeated for each layer.

For a motorised double roller, one control group uses one motor per layer; two groups use two motors per layer. The product options show the total number of motors for the complete double-roller setup.

Measure every panel in your layout

Choose the layout before measuring, then enter the first, second and, where required, third blind widths in the fields provided. Think about door access and which panels you want to raise independently.

Follow the linked-blind instructions in the measuring guide for the widths and join positions. Use the same room or window name for blinds belonging to the same opening.

Choose your blind control

Use the available controls shown for your size and configuration.

Chain control

The Australian-designed SunBoss system uses a chain on the chosen side of the blind. Larger blinds include spring assistance to make them easier to operate.

ZeroGravity® cordless

ZeroGravity® is a cordless, spring-balanced control. Raise or lower the blind by its base rail and release it at your preferred height—the blind stays wherever you leave it. It can handle blinds up to 3 metres wide × 3 metres drop. There is no hanging operating chain.

Motorised

Choose from the motor options offered for the selected blind. Remote, charger and smart-hub choices appear where applicable.

Find the right motor

Select the power and control system that suits the installation.

Battery powered

The rechargeable Silent Glide motor can be installed without mains wiring. One battery motor does not drive several linked blinds. The available independent battery layout uses a separate motor for each blind.

Hardwired

Powered from the mains and installed by a licensed electrician. The live guide specifies support for up to three linked blinds with a combined width of 6 m. The available configuration must also suit your blind sizes.

C-Bus

For an existing compatible C-Bus home-automation system. A licensed electrician must connect the mains supply and integrate the controls. C-Bus motors do not use the ordinary RF remotes or RF smart-hub setup.

Control one blind or a group

A channel can operate a single blind or a group that moves together.

2-channel remote

A compact choice for a small number of blinds or a double-roller arrangement.

16-channel remote

Gives more scope to organise blinds by room or fabric type. Several motors assigned to one channel operate together.

Remote details

The current live guide describes a white remote with a piano-lacquer finish and USB-C charging.

Frequency: 433.92 MHz
Range: Up to 80 m outdoors with line of sight; 30 m indoors
Compatibility: Silent Glide RF motors; does not apply to C-Bus motors

Already have a compatible remote?

Choose no remote only when you already have a compatible way to operate and set up these motors.

A connected home, at your pace

A compatible hub adds app and voice control to supported motors.

Everyday routines

Use the compatible hub and app to control blinds, create rooms and groups, schedule individual or grouped movements, and share access with your household. The live guide includes Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control.

Before you choose

Check compatibility with the selected motor and keep the remote needed for initial motor setup. A hub does not replace the motor’s power supply.

Automations

The app supports scenes and triggers such as a timer, sunrise or sunset, weather and your arrival or departure. Availability depends on the compatible hub, motor and app setup.

Keep battery motors charged

Choose the compatible charger for your battery motor.

New installation

Include a charger if you do not already have a compatible one.

Existing equipment

Check the motor and charger model before reusing a charger. A hardwired motor does not need a battery charger.

Choose a chain finish

Match the chain to your fabric, hardware or surrounding interior.

Standard metal chain

The standard metal chain has a metallic finish. For coastal homes or areas exposed to salty air, choose stainless steel for greater resistance to rust and corrosion.

Stainless steel chain

Stainless steel is more resistant to rust and corrosion than the standard metal chain, making it the recommended option for coastal areas. It is selected separately under Chain Colour.

A colour to blend in

White, Birch, Beige, Grey and Black can blend with your fabric, hardware or surrounding trim.

Coordinate the small details

Choose a bracket and component colour that sits comfortably beside the fabric and window.

Keep the hardware quiet

White is a common choice with lighter fabrics. You can also coordinate with the trim, architrave or surrounding room.

Check the visible finish

Look at your samples in the room where the blind will be installed; screen colours are an indication.

When to choose a larger tube

The aluminium roller tube is selected to suit the width and drop of your blind.

38 mm or 50 mm

The optional upgrade appears when the blind would otherwise use a 38 mm tube. Upgrade to 50 mm to match a larger neighbouring blind. If the upgrade is not offered, the blind uses the 50 mm tube.

Keep a room consistent

Where smaller and larger blinds sit together, matching the tube size gives a more uniform appearance.

A considered finishing touch

The bottom rail can blend into the blind or provide a contrast.

Deluxe oval base rail

A rounded profile with a gently reflective aluminium finish.

Flat base rail

A straight profile for a clean, minimal finish.

Choose each layer’s rail type and colour in the Double Roller configurator. Match both rails for a consistent finish, or choose them separately to suit each fabric.
