Vertical blinds installation guide
Wall or architrave mounting for the supplied wand-controlled track.
01 Prepare the fixing surface
Secure brackets to a sound mounting surface. Use Ramset 10 mm Grip Hollow Wall Anchors for plaster; predrilled holes and standard wood screws for timber; and a masonry drill with suitable plugs, anchors or screws for concrete, stone, brick or tile.
02 Choose fixings for the surface
Check the delivered fixing pack before starting; bracket-fixing screws may need to be sourced separately. Use the fixing reference below for curtains and blinds, excluding shutters, and obtain any missing fixings suitable for the surface.
Use the product-specific anchoring instructions with this general reference. Select fixings to suit the actual wall construction, bracket and load.

03 Position and fix the brackets
Space the brackets evenly across the wall or architrave. When fixing to an architrave, set the brackets flush with its top edge. Check that all fixings hold securely.
04 Attach the track
Loosen or remove the small screw at the front of each bracket. Seat the track grooves on the small bracket lip.
With the track correctly positioned, refit and tighten the screw so it sits below the track groove and holds the track in place. Check that every bracket is secure.
05 Fit the wand and slats
Attach the control wand to its supplied fitting. Hang each slat on its track clip with its clean face towards the room. Check that all slats are attached before operating the blind.
These steps apply to wand control. If your delivered track uses a different control or fixing, obtain the matching instructions before fitting it.
06 Check the finished blind
Operate the wand and traverse gently to check that the slats hang correctly and the track remains secure. Keep these instructions with the blind.
