White Blinds and Curtains for Every Room
White blinds and curtains bring a light, open feel to a room, and read differently depending on the fabric, the backing and the light around them. See the samples below in your own room before you choose a shade.

Why choose white
A shade that works with light
White is one of the most flexible shades for blinds and curtains, since it reflects available light and sits quietly against most walls, trims and floors.
Softer daylight glow
White blinds and curtains let more daylight glow show through a light filtering or sheer fabric, so a lighter colour can brighten a room with less natural light.
Backing that matches
Serene II has a colour-coordinated backing, so a white Serene II fabric keeps a more consistent look from outside compared with a range that has a plain reverse.
Coordinated hardware
Bracket and component colours include white, so the visible hardware can match a white fabric closely instead of standing out against it.
Where white works
Bring white into any room
White suits almost every product in the range, from a crisp roller blind to a soft curtain. Three ways to start are set out below.
Blockout Roller Blinds
Shade Ice and Ultra Cool White are two clean white options in the blockout range, giving a bedroom or living room a bright, calm backdrop.

Plantation Shutters
A white shutter reads as part of the window's architecture. Compare the finish against your walls and trim before choosing your panel layout.

Sheer Curtains
Cassis Volume Snow and Bali Snow are white sheer options that diffuse hard daylight while keeping the room feeling open and bright.

Compare it before you commit
Whites vary in undertone, and the samples below show the ranges we actually stock. Order a few and compare them at different times of day.
Order free samples
Add the whites you like to one sample order and compare them together, rather than judging a single swatch on its own.
Check both lights
Compare samples in daylight and again under the lights you use at night, since a white can shift warmer or cooler under each.
Match your trim
Hold the sample against your architrave and skirting to see whether it should match the trim or sit apart from it.
Pair fabric and hardware
Coordinate bracket and component colours with your chosen white so the visible hardware feels like part of the same finish.

White Blinds and Curtains: your questions answered.
Which white blinds are actually white, not cream?＋
Whites vary between ranges: some lean warm and others lean cool. Compare samples such as Shade Ice or Ultra Cool White against your walls in daylight, since a colour can look different on a screen than it does in the room.
Are white blinds harder to keep clean?＋
Follow the care instructions for your chosen fabric. Dust roller fabric with a soft cloth or a damp sponge, and dust shutter louvres with a soft duster, wiping marks promptly using the method approved for that material.
Will a white sheer curtain give me privacy at night?＋
Sheers soften daylight but do not provide reliable privacy when the room is lit at night, whatever their colour. Consider a blockout curtain, a double curtain arrangement, or closing a blockout roller blind for night-time privacy.
How do I choose between a warm white and a cool white?＋
Order a few samples — such as Ultra Cool White alongside Shade Ice or Allure Snow — then compare them against your existing paint and trim in daylight and again at night, since undertones vary between ranges.
Can I match white blinds with white curtains in the same room?＋
Yes. Order samples from both the roller and curtain ranges — for example a blockout white and a sheer white such as Bali Snow — and compare them together in the room before choosing either.
What if the white sample looks different once it’s installed?＋
Compare the physical sample in the room where the blind, curtain or shutter will hang, in both daylight and the lights you use at night, before finalising your order — a screen or photo is only ever a guide.
