ZeroGravity cordless roller installation installation guide
Protect the factory-set spring tension, fit the pin end first and adjust only in small increments when needed.
01 Prepare the brackets
Check that the supplied brackets are secure, straight and level. Use the main roller guide for fixing-surface and bracket-position guidance; the ZeroGravity spring and hook-end handling below applies to this cordless system.
02 Protect the factory-set tension
The factory sets the spring tension. The plastic cap on the clutch/hook end retains this tension and prevents accidental operation of the tension-lock button. Do not press that button before the blind is in its brackets.
03 Fit the roller
Fit the pin end first. Remove the blue plastic cap and fit the hook end last, taking care not to depress its button.
04 Adjust only when needed
If the blind does not stay up, use the supplied spanner for very small increases in tension and test after each adjustment. The spanner adds tension only; do not over-adjust. To reduce tension, remove the blind, roll it down one turn, then refit it using the same pin-first sequence.
05 Finish and check
Test the blind after each small adjustment. Check that it remains securely seated in both brackets and stays at the intended position. Contact My Direct Blinds if the supplied spring control or adjustment tool differs from these instructions.
