Top 100 interior design influencers to follow in 2026
100 interior design influencers, bloggers and publications worth following in 2026, from Australia, New Zealand, the US, the UK and Europe.
The interior design influencers worth following in 2026 range from long-running home bloggers to working designers who post their projects online. This list names 100 of them, grouped by region, so you can find rooms, colours and window ideas that suit your own home.
In short
- 100 interior design influencers, bloggers and design publications, grouped into Australia and New Zealand, the United States and Canada, and the United Kingdom, Europe and beyond.
- Every entry was checked in October 2026 against the creator's own site or recent coverage, and blogs that had gone quiet or changed hands were dropped.
- The list is not ranked, and listings are not paid.
- Use the final section to turn what you see into window treatment choices, then order free samples before you decide.
How this list of interior design influencers was put together
This page replaces our 2019 list. Many of the blogs on it have since stopped posting, changed hands or moved to other subjects, so we started again. We looked at each creator's own site, and for some Australian designers at recent coverage in a home magazine, and kept the ones that were still publishing and still about homes.
The groups below are not ranked, and the order inside each group is not a score. We have listed what each one covers, where they are based when their site or a profile says so, and a handle or website. A few mix home content with other topics such as food, travel or gardening, and we have said so where it matters.
Handles are shown as published on each creator's own site or in directory listings, and most are Instagram. We did not check how often each account posts, so look at the latest posts before you follow. Search the name, or type the website into your browser.

Turning interior design inspiration into window treatments
Window treatments appear in almost every room photo, so it pays to look at them on purpose. When you save a picture you like, note what the curtain or blind is doing before you note anything else.
Ask four questions of each photo. How does the fabric hang: flat like a roller blind, or in soft folds like S Fold curtains? Is it a light, see-through sheer curtain or a heavier fabric? Does it hang close to the ceiling or sit on the window frame? And is the colour close to the wall, or a deliberate contrast?
The answers give you a shopping list. A room that glows with daylight but still hides the view usually uses a light filter roller blind or a sheer. A bedroom that looks calm and dark usually has a second, heavier layer, and our guide to layering sheer and blockout curtains explains how the two work together.
Tip: Colour looks different in every room. Order free samples and hold them against your wall in morning and evening light before you decide, rather than matching a colour from a photo.
Plenty of the homes on this list show looks that come from overseas products or building styles. Some of those are not part of our range, so check the product pages before you commit to a look. For colour decisions, our guide to choosing blind colours is the best next step, and living room curtain ideas shows the same thinking applied to one room.
Questions
Who are the best interior design influencers to follow in Australia?
This list has 35 Australian and New Zealand entries, made up of designers, stylists, renovators and publications. Three Birds Renovations and Undercover Architect suit renovators, and Loui Burke suits renters.
How was this list of interior design influencers chosen?
We kept creators and publications that showed recent activity on their own sites or in recent coverage in October 2026, and dropped blogs that had gone quiet, changed hands or moved away from interiors.
Are the interior design influencers on this list paid to appear?
No. Listings are not paid, and a place on the list is not an endorsement or a partnership with My Direct Blinds.
How do I use interior design blogs to choose window treatments?
Save photos of rooms you like, then note the window treatment in each one: the heading, whether it hangs from a track, the fabric weight and the colour against the wall. Order free samples to test the colours in your own light.
Are the social media handles on the list current?
Handles are shown as published on each creator's own site or in recent directory listings, and most are Instagram. We did not check how often each account posts, so look for recent posts before you follow.
